Sure. Open it up and read the date codes on the back of the pots. If there are date codes on the tranny, large filters or anything else, check them. The latest date in there is the oldest the amp could be. That assumes the part is original of course.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
I don't even want to take the time to open it up. I just want to sell it on ebay and I've seen several different versions.
If anyone knows by looking ( ballpark like 70-75 etc) or from the ser # etc.
