I'm not sure if "forgetting" a site is the same as flushing your cache. Try going to settings then in the search box type cache. Then you'll have an option to clear the cache.

Thanks, that worked in a roundabout way. Previously, the error said 'an exception can not be made for this site'. After flushing the cache, it gave me the 'add exception' button. After adding the exception, the site works.
On my old firefox ESR, cache is cleared under the 'advanced' tab in options.

Well, the new standby switch finally arrived and has been installed. This ol' girl is up and running like a champ again. Thanks again to all who were kind enough to check in and offer great suggestions and information. I'm still not sure why my first for a Sunn amp switch search on the 'Bay resulted in nothing found, multiple times, and then a couple days later showed exactly what I needed. Maybe they've taken a page from the amazon playbook and have some wacky algorithm running the show. Either way it was a good buy and looks and works perfectly. She'll go back in the cab tomorrow afternoon and then I'll be a happy man. Again, thanks to all, and to all Rock on!
