Drivers in a bass cabinet

Which drivers would be suitable for myself to put in a cab to use for bass guitar?
I have an empty cab measuring 750mm wide, 530mm high and 320mm deep.
The drivers i have are:
400 watt 15in. Eminence Delta 15A (8ohm)
150 watt 10in. Eminence Alpha (8 ohm)
70 watt Fane HF Horn (J.104)
My amp is a H+H 100 watt head.
Should all three be fitted or should i not fit the horn?
Dont really want to spend megabucks on a crossover if i can help it.
Any advice appreciated.

What tone are you going for? Who's style is closest to what you're after?

Are you looking for thud or bark?

Then you probably want the 15" with a well thought out port of some kind.

If you can locate the 'free-air resonance' data, that will tell you a lot about how to size the port. Unfortunately, that's all the help I can be - search the site for things like cabinet, Thiele and port.

Really short answer: Stick the 15" in the cabinet, crank it and see what happens. With only 100W and a sealed cabinet with no ports, you're very unlikely to blow the speaker up, and you may be pleasantly surprised by the tone, though it may be more bark and throb than thud.

Short answer: Go download yourself a copy of WinISD (it's freeware) and use it to figure out what size of port to add, to tune the cabinet for extra "thud". If you don't understand what all the parameters and coloured graphs in WinISD mean, then learn: it's all part of the learning curve of speaker design. WinISD should already have the Thiele-Small parameters for the Eminence drivers in its database.

If you don't want to learn, see really short answer above.

PS: If you want to use the horn, you must use a high-pass crossover for it, or you'll roast it in about 10 seconds. I think the Motown guys got by fine without horns, though.

Beats me, I have no idea where snort might come from. it just always seemed appealing to have sparkling highs and snorting bass.
