    Say i have a cathode biased 2x6v6 amp and i'm using a 8 ohm speaker and the OT is made for a 4xEL84 amp. (i believe 3800 ohms, 30 watt) I would want to use the 4 ohm tap, correct or no?

          Oops....it's 4k, not 3800. Will that little bit of difference help or hinder?

            Off by 5%? No worries - a lot of trannies are +/-10% to begin with. It's integer errors you need to worry about (2x, 3x).
