Hello everyone, first post from me here.
I've been wanting to build a really rugged buffer for some time, using tubes. The 12AT7 / ECC81 has really excellent characteristics - max voltage swing of 10Volts on the input, and what I see as a theoretical input impedance of 10M Ohm. So that's good.
Now for my question; What kind of circuit should I base this buffer around? I've read The Valve Wizard's site, excellent reading: http://www.freewebs.com/valvewizard/, but I'm unsure what to base it on.
Any help to a "tuub-noob" would be greatly appreciated!
Kind regards, Jake
