HI GUYS,SOORY FOR MY ENGLISH, THE BASSMAN 70 SCHEMATIC SHOW A BRIDGE RECTIFIER,BUT IT SHOW THE CENTER TAP CONECTED TO THE MIDLE OF THE FIRST 2 CAP IN SERIE,WHY? I NEED MAKE THIS CONECTION?THANKS VERY MUCH

It's a type of voltage doubler circuit. Yes, you need to connect the center tap as shown on the schematic if you are using an original style power transformer.

Thanks octal,i have rebuild the head for guitar only,el34 now, and without that conection i have 465v in plate,and i dont want more,no problem if lift securyty?
