Hello,
I am currently trying to work out a stand alone tremolo/reverb unit. The reverb is pretty much finished but I am having a hard time with the tremolo section.
My first problem is that I have half a triode left, so I am pretty much resigned to using transistors as the oscillator which I think would be fine. In this case, the schematic that R.G. Keen has on his website using IRF820s should work great but I can't find information on which ldr-neon combination will work. Does anyone have the values handy? Or is it more a situation of trial and error?
Alternatively, if I were to use a bias modulation method how does the oscillator connect to the affected preamp tube? I have seen examples of it going to the cathode and to the grid.
Thanks for your help!
