5e3 build

I have built several amps and have many extra parts. I was wondering for a 5e3 build would using 22uf 500 v filter caps be alright. Like 22, 22, 22?
Also I have some 300 ohm 5 watt resisters. Could that be used instead of the 250 ohm cathode resister for the 6v6 pin 8??
