Vintage Orange amp effects loop question

Hi, and thanks in advance. I will be doing a build closely related to the vintage orange designs. I have noticed in the schematics the effects loops does not remove the original signal, but samples it and then returns it to be blended with the original signal. This looks very cool, it appears I could insert a reverb or chorus, or tremelo effect while maintaining my original dynamics from the tube signal path. Is this correct? And also has anyone done any mod with this design to to allow for a blender pot or maybe just an effect level pot?

I built an OR 120 clone once. It took a while to get the bugs out, partly due to my lack of experience at the time, and partly due to the fact that a couple of the OR120 schematics have errors in them that can spell doom for the amp. The presence control on the "factory OD120 reissue" , the oone from the 90's, is incorrect on the schem, and causes tubes to over heat.

I don't have any experience with the effects loop though-I left that circuitry out.
