The amp sounds fine, but I have an annoying buzz when the master and tone controls are up, and the gain controls are down (preamp gain controls do not affect it).

The buzz is entering at the grid of the 3rd stage. I have tried everything... well, just not the thing to cure it.

    Thanks for any advice.

It looks like your speaker leads run under your board, correct? I had a similar problem once with a scratch build, only when the tone controls turned up. Try temporarily routing the speaker leads outside the chassis and see if that much more physical isolation changes anything.

Sounds like grounding. Have you read this?

I wasn't trying so much to get troubleshooting advice here, I guess, just maybe some more general design improvements I could make in the future.
