  • How to Add a Footswitch for Reverb and Vibrato

I really want to figure out how to use a stereo jack & cable to have control of both reverb and vibrato on a (double) footswitch. Can anyone point me to a schematic or tutorial? I have looked around and can find a schem or two but they don't quite fit with the amp I have.

I have a split load phase inverter and a Princeton style vibrato. Reverb is an Ampeg/Traynor capacitor coupled type with a single 12DW7.

I guess what isn't clear to me is where the switches cut out the signal. I'm still somewhat newbish so I can't figure it out from existing schems I have seen.

Thanks very much for your help!

    Princeton Reverb

Here is the schematic for a Princeton Rvb 65 Reissue.
They pull WJ5 to ground to turn off Vibrato.
WJ4 to ground turns off Reverb.
I do not have your schematic, but this may lead you towards adapting your circuit.
