  • Question about internally jumpering channels

I'm working on a tweed Pro circuit, 5E5A, that I want to internally jumper the channels on. My thought is that I can lose one set of input jacks, put a jumper between pins 2 & 7 on V1 and I should be set.

What I started thinking about this morning is whether the 68k and 1M resistors should now be halved in value or not? Is it analogous to a shared cathode where you'd use a resistor with half the value of normal?

Or since it's on the input side do I not need to be concerned over this?

    Thanks!
