If you turn the MID pot UP to 10 are you moving the cap on the wiper up towards the BASS pot or down towards ground?

If I can ask....So what happens exactly?
The Mid is 25k and the Bass is 1M. What takes place as the Mid pot turns to 10?

The TC caps and resistors provide a dip at a certain mid frequency; those 10K or 25K in series with the capacitor which goes to ground, dampen that dip, so "you have more mids", in fact they get less attenuated.
Google TSC , Duncan Tone Stack calculator, which will let you play with components values and draw the response curve. Very useful.
