I have just been contacted by email by someone who got my info from this forum. They saw that I had purchased Merlin's first book, and asked me to scan a copy for him. NOT A CHANCE IN HELL! I respect Merlin and his hard work producing these fine books, and would NEVER give away his intellectual property to someone too cheap to pay for a copy. I urge all others who have supported Merlin by purchasing his books to NOT violate Merlin by scanning and giving away his work! I will now get down off of the stump. Wasn't me, I don't have mine yet.

I sometimes get PMs from someone wanting me to scan a schematic I had said I couldn't share, and they want to do it just between us, I won;t tell, etc. I usually respond "Please don't ask me to be dishonest or break my word."

SO Merlin, me in the USA, where shall I order from for the best return to you? There was talk on the first book about some sellers wanting more discount from you than others.

Got my copy of the new book yesterday, and on first flip through the pages, looks to be even better than I thought it would be!
Lots of very useful information, explained in a very clear way, so that even I can understand it.

Incredible on so many levels. In addition to the top level sleazy request, what makes him think that your time to scan a whole book should be donated to him? Sounds like the same kind of guy that would ask you to paint his house on your day off if he just supplied the paint.
