So, I was checking out the Peavey VB-2 amp for a friend of mine; simple rebias and checkup.....
I found that the unit uses a system to feed the bias voltage before the bias potmeter via 10k's to the supressor grid of the EL34's in the amp......
As for the tech help by Peavey, they told me this helps the amp to accept all EL34's and matches em to the ones placed.
As for now I only used to ground this supressor grid....... could someone explain the advantages and the disadvantages of this way? I am curious
