I still need to put up the revised schematic as the problem has persisted. I've just downloaded Audacity, and tomorrow is my last day before my semester starts so I will record a clip of it then. I had recorded a clip with my Mac's Photo Booth, but the file type isn't supported by youtube, so I need to figure out a way to convert the file.

Ok, well I've recorded the sound, but the problem is that I am having no luck converting to another file type from Audacity in order to put it up here. The more I here the more it seems like a much different problem than just a "bad" sounding overdrive, but more like there is something more wrong with the amp. It could just be a bad part, but almost all of the parts have been replaced in an attempt to remove any bad ones. I still haven't drawn up the schematic, but it's basically back to stock Vibrolux topology with different parts values, a Lar/Mar master and no trem. The buzz artifact is only coming from higher settings of the volume knob, which rules out any power section problems.
