  • Mojo Oil Filled Caps

Mojo is now offering new oil filled caps. Is this just a gimmick or do the oil filled caps have better tone.

    Here's a link. http://www.mojomusicalsupply.com/cap...=Oil%20filled"

I have a bunch of Vitamin Q's and Astron oil caps I got a long time ago for free.I dont find them to be any better than the Mallory 150's or even some Russian military caps I got on ebay.Maybe worth the cost for Hi-Fi use,but for guitar amps I wouldnt pay the extra $$ for them.

MOJO, et al, are very good friends of mine but I agree 100% in what Stokes just said.
Best bang for the buck coupling caps are the inexpensive Mallory 150s and I also have hundreds and hundreds of those PIO caps from the old Soviet block countrys... they are cheaper, sound fine and sill satisfy my 'crazy ass' customers who think PIO caps is the only way to fly.
