  • How do you search for a post in a long thread.

Is there an easy way to look for new posting in a long drawn thread. This forum is funny in the way it goes with branches rather in sequential. I have a lot of problem to find post in a long drawn thread.

    hi,

FWIW there is a "Display" button to change the style of thread display (Linear/Hybrid/Threaded). Also, there is a small button (round with two upside-down triangles) to the immediate left of the thread title (when looking at the thread list) which takes you to the first new post (should be something like this for other BBS software also).

This may or may not also be helpful:
After logging in, if you click on "New Posts" at the top of the page, you will see a listing of posts which were uploaded since your last (logged in) visit.
      DON'T FEED THE TROLLS!

        Thanks

Much better now, I just make it into sequential by date and time.(Linear).
