Need advice how to hook up a switch to fender speaker jack?

hello,

can i hook up a carling on-on (3 lugged) switch in conjunction w/ both speaker jacks and ext speaker?
I would like to be able to switch between 4/8 ohms.

the output wire goes to tips wired in series to both jacks. if i wire the two output wires (4/8 ohm) to either side of the carling on-on switch, and use the middle lug to go to the output wire goes to tips? thats my idea???

I am confused as to where you are picking up the 4 & 8 ohm output transformer taps.

the yellow wire is 4 ohms and 8 ohms is the green wire from your output transformer. If i wire the two output (OT) wires (4/8 ohm) to either side of the carling on-on switch, and use the middle lug to go to the output wire goes to tips? I used my multi meter to figure out the carling on-on switch.
