Actually... Even some commercial caulk tube silicone products are said to be conductive. Silicone II (2) is not. And it's good temperatures well above anything in a tube amp. It's a little more expensive than plain ol' silicone, but a caulk tube of the stuff lasts just fine if you seal up the opening some how. I never even get to use a whole tube on my electronics projects because something like a leaky tub or a sink installation always comes up before I do.
