Cap Placement

I am building on a rather Small/Narrow chassis.
I am trying to squeeze things in where I can.
Wondering if a Filter cap is susceptible to any kind of magnetic interference if it is close to a Power Transformer.?
Was considering mounting a 22/450 radial next to the PT. You can see it in the picture, next to the PT, with a White wire lying next to it.
Would the cap have "problems" being that close to the PT.?

Is that going to be the location for the input cap of your power supply filter? If so that cap is intentionally subjected to a whole lot of ripple from the rectifier and it's job is to filter out low frequency AC.

Sorry..... yes, it will be the First/Input cap... part of a Pi Filter.
I realize it will deal with A Lot of AC.
I am wondering if the PT itself would cause any problems for the cap..... "magnetic lines of force" and all that kind of stuff.

BTW.....The OT is from Edcor. I have used several of their PT, but I guess this is the first time I bought an OT from them. I guess all of their OT are UL.?
So I just "safe-off" the ends (of the screen supply leads), coil them up, and I stored them under the end covers. I imagine that will be OK.....just pretend it is a "normal" OT.?
