eFFECTS LOOP FOR SOLID STATE AMPS

Would like to put in an effects loop in my risson solid state amp to run tube based pedals .I saw weber has a kit includes a tube. Where do I study ta learn how to do this mod? Will it work with a solid state amp? I remember from my sunn amps the feed from the pre amp section is to high to run thru a pedal and I had to buy a rapco db 100 impedance converter and a volume control from carls custom guitars.

I think I answered my own question.If I use the rapco it would be quick and done. I saw the weber kit and thought it would be cool to have a tube stage in the loop.A schematic for this risson amp would be pretty hard ta come by. II think just getting the loop in there is plenty for this amp.
