Hey all!
I just received a nice little amp as a gift; an Marlboro G-50R that already has a great sound. The QSB (Quadra Sound Blender) is a nice add-on and complete's the 'weirdness' of the amp.
The reverb is not that good. The tank delivers a very short, almost slap back delay like sounds that is or too little or too much. No nice reverb sounds can be made and the 'echo' setting of the QSB is not that usuable.
I tried it with another reverb tank which I had laying around and that made it all MUCH better........ Now I want to add a 'real' reverb tank in the combo to replace the small, one spring, reverb that is now housed in the top.
But now I need to determine the impedance of the tank. I'll add a schematic later which states the reverb circuit. Can I measure a reverb tank? Does it matter what impedance it has???
