Cute idea, but looks a little unwieldy, bulky and heavy. I'm sure it will find it's niche.

The niche could be mobile measurements - get the app on a phone, communicate using bluetooth/nfc/wifi etc. Though don't fluke make one of those?

Just sayin . . . but my Tenma multimeter is really plasticcy. Never noticed that it read incorrectly but the robustness is christmas cracker level and is fairly typical of products at that end of the market.
