ax7 vs. 6sl7

In the Fender AA1164 Trem Schem...the one that uses 1/2 of the AX7. Is there any reason I should not start with the same component values.?
I am wanting to use that Trem Circuit with a 6SL7, but not sure if I can just do a straight substitution.
Guess I need to get the B+ and Cat Voltage numbers.?

The Cathode is 2.5 VDC
The plate is only at 210 VDC
This Is Not a Fender circuit, and uses 2x 6K6 for the power section. Can I make this Trem work with only 210 on the plate.?

Build it with the old 12AX7 values. That will be close enough for the 6SL7.
You can trim it later if necessary but it probably won't be.
For the trem oscillator you want max clean gain in that triode, so anode should sit at 1/2 to 2/3 rail.

When you say 1/2-2/3 of The Rail, are you saying the plate of the Trem Tube should be 2/3 of the Power Tube Plates.?
I THINK I pulled the Trem B+ form the power tube screens, but I will have to check.

No - I mean that the oscillator triodes anode should sit at 1/2 to 2/3 of the voltage at the top of the anode load resistor.
In that schematic posted by mozz you can see that the A rail is +400V and the anode of the triode is at +260V, right on the 2/3 value.
That maximises the gain and voltage swing which makes the oscillator as reliable as you can make it.

When you say that the anode of the 6SL7 is at 210V I assume that the A rail is around 320V? If it is higher than 320V then you may wish to increase the cathode bias resistor a little for less idle current and less voltage drop across the anode load resistor.
