  • Two Rock FX LOOP issue

I have a Sensor combo in. Customer complains of low volume and crackle upon throwing stby switch.

I notice something odd with this amp and I believe the volume issue is a result of this. The FX LOOP has a series/bypass switch. In both positions, with NOTHING plugged into the fx loop, the send and return volume controls are active. So, with nothing in the loop, if one of those is turned to zero, there's no sound from the amp.

Anyone know if this is normal or not? Seems very unreasonable if this is normal operation.

    Thanks!

From reading the manual (you have read the manual, correct?) the loop is active.

Thanks you. I went on the Two Rock site but my computer was acting up. Yep seems as though the controls are functional 100% of the time. I would never design an fx loop this way. I would at least have a BYPASS switch.
