  • Naylor Super Drive 60 amp

    Hi,

I've become very interested in Tim Pierce's guitarplaying and read that his favourite amp is a Naylor SD 60.

I have found the preamp section but not the Poweramp schematic. So what I am asking is: does anybody have the schematic of this poweramp and is willing to post it here?
I would like to have a good look at it. It uses 58881 powertubes I read. But are they NOS one or the Sovtek tubes?

Oh yeah , I forgot : any opinions on the Rocket Tim Pierce pedal?

    Tia , Alf

Remember seeing it long ago, will search the old computer for it.
Just from faded memory, I think they had some kind of weird active cut/boost Presence circuit or a compensated NFB one, so final EQ was reached in the Power Amp, not just what the Preamp fed it.
IF I find it, IŽll post it here.

Thanks for the info and links guys but I don't see the type of powertubes mentioned.

Picassochild posted a couple of schems in 2008 and the poweramps use different gridstoppers. The poweramp schem shown is a super club 38 which is supposed to be a SD 60.

Juan I hope you can find the schematic.

        Regards , Alf
