  • Need a maths refresher for RLC circuit scaling (reactive load stuff)

Hey gang, I haven't been around in ages but I'd love your help with something.

I'm working on a version of a passive reactive load (Aiken's design) but I'd like to drive it with a much higher source impedance- say 10x-100x that of the standard 8 and 16 ohm designs.

As I recall I can't just change the relative part values of the L's and C's as the Q of the filters will change. I don't currently have a SPICE simulator running so I thought I'd just ask and see if anyone had any good input.

    Thanks!

Hah, I just looked up the schematic and realized Randall gave some scaling advice on his page. I feel silly.
