Removing Rivets?

What is the best method for removing steel riverts? I can get them out, but sometimes they spin and are difficult to remove.

I usually just drill them out, but if you are talking about riv-nuts, they are a little tricky...maybe bolt cutters.

If they spin when you're drilling them try a centrepunch on one edge to hold them in place. But generally I just get fierce and drill at an angle.

I angle the drill on spinners, so the side of the drill is eating into the rivet as the thing turns.

If one refuses to cooperate, I can always grind the thing off with my Dremel. Worried about the finish? Do it underneath.
