    Fender Silverface Eyelet or PC Boards?

    Do the Fender Silverface amps have eyelets boards or PC boards?

    If it could go eaither way, can the manufacturing date or some other method be used to determine this?

    ...the CBS-era Fender amps used "eyelet" boards (except the short-lived SS amps).

    ...the transition to PC-boards occured with current FMIC.
    ...and the Devil said: "...yes, but it's a DRY heat!"

      Yeah, the CBS (Tweed) and Brownface amps used eyelet boards.

      The Silverface are mostly 70s amps, but some were made in the late 60s and early 80s.
