  • Good prototyping board?

hello anyone recommend a good solderless breadboard. one that can handle tube amp voltages/current etc...?

You can improvise. A section od 2x4 lumber with two rows of finishing nails, or use some fahnestock clips, mouser# 524-4034C. Use dry lumber.

I love Fahnestock clips, when I was learning electronics in the 1950s, they were everywhere.

It is not exactly what you want, but AES sells these things - they are very cool.

Couple rows of turrets, a copper ground plane and a socket or two all on a board ready to roll. They come in octal and 9-pin, and one, two, or three sockets on a board. Search "terminal board" on their site.

I remember fahnestock clips from my crystal radio I had back in the 50's. I was about six years old and fell asleep listening to the old radio serials.

Perfect timing. I was just getting ready to look into making something like Enzo posed. I've been using copper plated nails and a sheet of 1/2" plywood for prototyping thus far, and though it works, I'd like something a little more modular.

No "solderless" at Tube voltage ranges, specially no Protoboards, very dangerous.
Above suggestions are the way to go, including the old , time honored "breadboard", actually made out of wood and nails.
