    Hi all,
just after a bit of advice, i have salvaged the pt and ot from my 100w amp, i have asked the manufacturer for the specs for them and they have obliged,
    they are as follows

    Power Transformer

HT PLATE SUPPLY 330v at 600ma

    Heater Supply
There is only one Heater Winding.
    6.3v at 9amps
    This supplies V3,V4, V5, V6, V7, V8 6.3v AC .

V1 & V2 are Supplied with Rectified DC from the same winding.

    Bias Supply
    35v at 50ma.

    OUTPUT TRANSFORMER
    Power 100Watts
    Primary Impedance Ra - a 2K
    Secondary 0-4-8-16ohms
    DC Current per side 350MA

Now i am planning on building a 50w amp like at ax84 the 50w power amp and adding a couple of pre-amps to it, hopefully i will be able to do some switching with relays as well but that is later, for now i would like to know whether i can successfully use the OT with 2 el34's and if someone can point me in the direction as to where i can learn this.
    cheers

Sure you can use it with two EL34s. You just need to connect the speaker one tap lower than normal. So if you have a 8 ohm speaker, it goes on the 4 ohm tap. That way, the tubes see 4k a-a instead of the 2k in the spec.
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"
