2 heads, 1 speaker

I'm curious how this could be configured. My thoughts are to a/b the heads, however we wouldn't want either head to be running w/o a load on it. I also don't think we want both output transformers connected. I'd like a stomp switch that controls a jfet or relay arrangement. The arrangment I'm thinking could be that the cathodes of the power tubes could be disconnected in one head and vice versa... does this makes sense? Is there a better/easier solution?

Why only one speaker?

You could simply use a DPDT relay to switch the non-grounded side of both OT secondaries between the speaker and a speaker-sized resistive load.

You also want (actually NEED if they're tube amps) to mute the input of the amp that's not on the speaker. If you're doing it with relays, I'd suggest separate relays for input and output.
