  • VOX AC30 new PCB design

    Hi all,
This is Andrea from AAElectronics (https://www.aaelectronicspcb.com/). After a lot of request, I've started design for a PCB for Vox AC30 style amps, with the aim to make it flexible enough to accommodate seevral variants (e.g., EF86 channel, Normal, the AC15 version or additional mods). I'll attach the layout, PCB, and schematic for reference.

Would love to get your input on my design, and whether you'd like to see/add something to the PCB/schematic.
    Have a great weekend!
    Andrea

mod, please move this to 'plug your product'

Andrea, your profile has no location data. Where are you from ?

The image you posted of the PCB is really too small to see any detail. Can you post a link to a full size image ?
WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.

There is a problem using a winding with center tap and a bridge rectifier.

That's a great catch Pedro. Since ac30's were made with both fw and bridge rectifier configurations the board should be modified to accommodate either and the documents modified for safety and accuracy. I didn't look the rest of the board over for flaws but in light of this I think it should be examined. Also in this light it's clear this board is an untested design.
