need help identifying these speakers

My HiFi buddy picked these up knowing I like to build guitar amps.

They are 10" speakers and I wont have them in my possession till this weekend.

he says one of the speakers doesn't work and the other distorts. but they only cost me $5 each which I figure the logo's are worth.

any help here is apreciated. he doesn't know any details about thier origin as he found them at the good will.

Someone with a Fender parts database might know. My guess is that they are probably Chinese made ceramic magnet 25 watt speakers out of fairly recent low end Fender amps. Probably not worth reconing.

actually I'm thinkin i should build a 10 watt SE like a harvard.

think all i need is a power transformer.

weber sells a nice 10" ceramic for less than $40

one of the kids around here would love one

They look like the same speakers that come in the cheap solid state Fenders.

You mentioned building a Harvard SE. I'm gathering parts for one also, the 6G10. Don't know about 10 watts from it though, with one 6V6 (??)
Anyway, it should be a fun project.
