I have a Peavey Classic VTX. I just reconditioned and fixed my Scorpions, tightened all the bolts and nuts and cleaned it thoroughly. I have been reading that I am missing a huge percentage of sound without the footswitch. I see there are schematics available online, but I dont think I could build one. Does anybody know where the land of lost footswitches is? Or does anyone have one for sale for a Peavey Classic VTX 212? Any assistance would be awesome.

The footswitch for the Classic VTX is simple enough. Three buttons. Two turn the reverb and the phasor on and off, the third selects which channel. The schematic for the FS pedal is on the amp schematic. If you are not up to it, any competent amp tech could make one up for you with that information.
Peavey no longer has these in stock, afte3r all the amp is 30 years old. However, the parts department will make one up for you from parts for a price. You would have to call them for more information.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
