  • Fender circuit # system for '70s amps

Fender used a system for their circuit designation in the '50s and '60s, yielding numbers such as the venerable AB763.

Did this system continue into the '70s? I have schematics for different '70s Twin/Showman amps including 100 watt with master volume but no pull boost, and 100 watt with master volume with pull boost. I can't seem to find circuit numbers for them that follow the convention described above.

How were the '70s circuits labeled?

No Fender don't use these number in '70.

Did you know that AB763 is the second version schematic of the AA763 ?

Is there any systematic numbering system for the '70s and later amp circuits?

The last one I remember was AA1172. After that, the circuits had names, not numbers.
