I picked up a very nice looking 1959 Danelectro Challenger over the weekend. It's in excellent condition as you can see from the pictures below. My only concern is the output transformer, which looks like it might need to be replaced or rewound (any thoughts? replacements? upgrades?). I'll also have to add a 3-prong plug and probably replace the electrolytics.
I know these amps are very similar to the Silvertone 1433, and I have a schematic for the 1433. Does anyone have a schematic specific to this amp, or know the differences besides the cabinet? There seems to be a limited amount of information about these amps on the web, so any info would be extremely helpful.
