  • late 60s Marshall JMP

    I'm having a look at a late 60s jmp 1987 model.

Can someone help me with dating the amp or estimating its value?:

    - SN: S/11170
    - No bias pot: 68k bias resistor instead of the 47k + 25lin pot
    - I believe it's completely original only 1 resistor( v2 bias) + power tube socket have been replaced.

    thanks.

is there a letter following the serial #?
"Take two placebos, works twice as well." Enzo

"Now get off my lawn with your silicooties and boom-chucka speakers and computers masquerading as amplifiers" Justin Thomas

"If you're not interested in opinions and the experience of others, why even start a thread?
You can't just expect consent." Helmholtz

Amp has been sold in the meanwhile for 2200euros

Apparently it was an early '68 plexi 50w.
specs: no bias pot, B+ voltage was around 440dc
