    Hey,

Just out of high school I worked for a guitar shop part time, and, when it closed down a few years later I inherited a few items that have been done nothing but collect dust.

I was wondering if anyone can help identify what they are and maybe a suggestion of what to do with them? Donate to high school electronics program? I'm not expecting to make any money, it just seems like a bit of a waste for them to be just collecting dust since there isn't really much use with me. I don't know much on the technical side of amps, so someone out there will know straight away.

thanks in advance, any questions or closer pics just ask.

    cheers.

It looks as if the tech was an older fellow?
There are some application specific items there.
Just what the application was, is hard to discern.
There are certainly 'good' parts there.
Although all must be considered untested.
Vintage parts is a good discription.

And if you want to make them interesting to others, probably the most important thing you could add would be what printing is on each piece.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

          Thanks to both replies.

Any ideas of who would take them? Just looking to give away and get it off my mind. Repair shop? Craigslist ad? Would prefer someone who would want to use and not turn around and sell.

          Repair shop?

Copper is fetching amazable returns per pound at scrap-yards. Perhaps that thing with all the wires coming out of the top is a multi-tap transformer.

The friendly-neighborhood mad scientist I know has what you have times a million (I live close to Los Alamos in New Mexico). Leaving it out at the curb sometimes works… haha!!

Old ham-radio operators might be interested. If your town has an old-fashioned electronics store (pre-RadioShack), perhaps their clientel may be interested.
