  • Symphonic MA-12 Amp

I picked up a very cool amp the other day as a project. I am adding a 2 amp fuse, isolation transformer and a 3 prong plug. The grill cloth was pretty bad so I replaced it as well. I believe these amps were made in the 60's. Usually they have a schematic glued inside but mine doesn't. I removed the "death cap" as well. It has 3 tubes; a 12ax7, 50L6GT, 35W4.

I am planning on adding a 1/4" receptacle to plug the internal speaker in or an outside cabinet.

Here's where I am going to mount the fuse holder. I didn't want to drill the mounting hole in the amp faceplate so this seems like an ok spot. I also added in the terminal strip in the photo. This should give me a good spot to connect the transformer leads to the 3 prong cord leads.
