  • Can anyone identify this speaker?

I recently re-discovered my old Airline amp, that I carried all around the Pacific, almost 40 years ago. I decided to repair it (a few resistors, a couple of caps, and a power tube), and it sounds great. I have started to recover it and replace the grill cloth, and remembered that a guitar player that I worked with (early 70's), gave me this speaker out of his Fender. Does anyone recognize it? Thanks for any help. (The voice coil cap sure seems small, compared to modern speakers).

It's an Oxford! The 465 is the manufacturers code.

Thanks Daver, I looked up Oxford on the web, and found a site for identifying old Fender amps, and their speakers. The 12T6 designates that it is rated for 45 watts, (there were 2 in my friends Twin), and dates them to the late 60's.
