  • A cracklin static-like sound at power up

My 69 Bandmasater Reverb is up an running and sounding good so far now that Ive got my cab built and all .. But...... I noticed when I first fire this baby up it crackles and sounds "staticky" It goes away after a few seconds .. Is it anything I should investigate or does it fall into the range of normal tube amp behavior?
    Thanks gang!

SOme tubes make noises as they come up to temperature. As the metal parts expand slightly from the heat, they can move within the structure, and it crackles. I wouldn't worry about it.
