  • Vintage cap dot color codes

I am the lucky recipient of some vintage caps and resistors from an old TV shop that closed up about ten years ago. Most of the parts are identifiable, but the caps in the pic have colored dots and I don't know how to identify them so I'm hoping someone here can help.

And neither of those charts included the old domino style caps, so yet even more ways to confuse yourself.

AES sells a groovy wall poster with a bunch of color code schemes, caps resistors transformer wires.

I have one hanging on my wall, not so much because I need it, but it is a darn attractive poster in my view.

Open the page, click on the image to expand, then click on the expando arrows in the corner, and it grows enough to see what all is on it, even if you cannot read it.
