How old is my Portaflex?

The serial # is 062425, It has 2 6L6GC power tubes, 2 12AX7 preamp, and a 5AR4 which I presume is a rectifier? Anyway looking at the Ampeg site I'm not certain if it is a 67 or a 60, I have pics if that would help. Thanks, Buddy

The covering would be different for those years. The '67 would have diamond shaped pattern and the '60 would have the speckled looking "Random Flair" covering.

You don't mention the model, there were many portaflexes.

If I want to know the age of an amp, I look on the pots for the date codes. Also many times there are date codes on the transformers, speakers, large cap, etc.

Sounds like an SB-12.

12 inch speaker? It would be the later model. The early sb-12's came with 7868 power tubes.
