  • Epiphone/Gibson EA32 Power Trans woes

Hello, does anyone know of a suitable replacement for the power transformer
    in a 1966 Epiphone EA32 tube amp?
    It has 2xEL84s 2x6EU7 and 1X12ax7
thanks or your help in advance!

Have you tried Mercury Magnetics? They have reverse engineered many vintage transformers, and offer replacements for all kinds of oddball and normal amps. I think they also offer a rewind service as well.

Or, based on the tube line up, a Princeton or Deluxe power transformer will probably work just fine. You will have to tape off the 5v filament leads as your amp doesn't use a tube rectifier. Measure the mounting dimensions of the original and see if either one will drop-in in its place.
