  • type/brand transformers in Selmer amps?

    Hi all

I do have a set transformers from a 100 Watt Selmer PA amp and I did use them in some circuits and do really like them. Just for some extra info: anybody knows the brand of transformers Selmer (UK) was using.

The OT does have the following marks:
    T 198
    D.E.

It does kinda look like an old Hiwatt Partridge transformer, the sound is very clear and woody/fat.

    Many tia!

Could be, I've seen a Drake set in a 50 Watt Selmer....
Gonna use this set for sure but I just wanted to know...

(Did see a Partridge PT and a Drake OT in an old british Carlsboro amp)

        D.E. is Dagnall.

I've seen Selmers with Partridge trannies before, but only on the 50w heads.
