  • Laney L100 "Klipp" amp

    Hey all!

I just got this amp in for a friend; he's a local player in a known rock / bluesrock band. Bad part: he doesn't own his own amp.

He got the Laney for cheap in this second hand store; it doesn't work.

I haven't checked it but was wondering about the whole unit; anyone knows about schematics / based upon / etc??? Would love to make this unit sing!

Second question; anyone knows the wiring of the power transformer? This amp keeps blowing my house fuses; I suspect the two ground connections on the primary side of the power transformer. Would love to know the wiring of this baby to keep it from blowing.

        All I know:
        The transformer is Partridge
        Numbers: T H2024 and H4041K

Edit: I removed the wires and now the amp works fine; 570V on the tubes.
