  • Todd Electric Transformer?

I have an old OT (output transformer) that has the following markings:

    TO-2003
    9263137

From what I can find so far, if the 926... code is a standard code, this is made by Todd Electric Company. I've also read that Todd trannies were used in Ampeg amps. Outside of that, I can find no info.

What year was this OT made? It has plastic insulated wire, so can't be 1931.
    Any other info appreciated.

Well, for a moment I would have pointed out that 137 is a standard code for CTS, a company that makes a lot of parts used in this industry. Unfortunately that would mean the thing was made in the 63rd week of 1992. Seems unlikely.

      Thanks Enzo.

I believe the manufacturer code is the first 3 digits, not the last three. Assuming of course they follow the normal pattern. The first three, 926, designate Todd Electric, which is a company that made transformers.

I know, mb, I just didn't have anything useful to say.

LOL. That's OK Enzo. You're the only one who's at least said something. At least I have someone to talk to on this thread.
