Got a barn find 63 or 64 grey panel Standard AC30 here.
In place of where a rear-panel mounted Top Boost module might go, it's been fitted with something labelled "Normalizer NR1 Balance". It's got a volume and tone control and a jack socket for a dual footswitch. It has a 12AX7 and a relay in the module and a label which says "Built and Designed By Bolton Electronic Developments, Suffolk, England".
Before I trace the circuit, has anyone come across one of these before? (No trace of the module or the company out there on the internet, obvs.) It's clearly a spin on the back-mounted top boost concept, I'm guessing with switchable boost.
